I’m just a regular Portuguese girl who is simply curious about the world, but I never believed I would touch 60+ countries before 30. Before embarking on this journey, I felt unfulfilled in my first ‘big girl’ job. I knew I wanted to escape the corporate world after a few months, but I was scared of the unknown.
I sat in my cubicle, daydreaming about handing in my resignation and buying a one-way ticket to the other side of the world. However, my fears were rooted in pressure to maintain “normal” and “stable” social expectations. But it didn’t last any longer.
I took the leap after my graduate degree and I’m ecstatic to say that my courage led me to live an extraordinary life as a traveler, and now I’m passionate about showing others how they too can take the plunge and live their best life .
